Representative Goto’s research paper on space medicine published in Circulation Reports
On July 15, 2025, a review article written by Dr. Goto on “Physiological Changes in the Cardiovascular System in Space and Rehabilitation” was published in the cardiovascular journal, Circulation Reports.
This paper is based on a presentation given by Goto at the symposium session “Space Medicine × Rehabilitation” at the Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation held in Kobe in July 2024, which was recommended by the conference chair for publication.
Among clinical medical fields in Japan, the field of cardiology is highly advanced in space medicine, and we will report on future developments.
